About the Vehicles
For each Challenge Land Rover uses every model available that year to show the full capabilities of the vehicles. As models change, so does the line up for the Challenge. For instance, the 2003 challenge showcased the Discovery Series II, but by 2006, this had been replaced by the all new Discovery 3 (aka LR3).
The vehicles used on the Challenge are not modified in any way - they are "Factory Standard" - the only changes are bolt-on accessories such as the roof racks, extra lighting and the winches etc. Oh and of course the custom 'Tangiers Orange' paintwork...
